Founder and CEO
Mehrnaz Hadian MS, MD, FCCM, board certified in internal medicine, critical care medicine, neuro-critical care, hospice and palliative care medicine, is the founder and president and the chief consultant of HIRECCM. She is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and an attending intensivist physician at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Hadian holds a master degree in clinical research and is experienced in quality control and clinical research projects with special focus in critical care medicine. She also has extensive experience in curriculum development in medical education and has held leadership positions in residency programs.
Dr. Hadian is a JD candidate at Southwestern Law School, where she serves as the president of the campus Law and Medicine Society and participates in the Certificate Program in Bioscience Industry Law and Practice, in collaboration with Keck Graduate Institute. She is an expert consultant with the Medical Board of California.
Dr. Hadian is a passionate patient advocate, who strives to promote the delivery of the ICU standard of care to all critically ill patients in every hospital around the country. To that end, she has founded INSPIRE CCM, the Institute for Public Informing of Research and Education in Critical Care Medicine in collaboration with a group of prominent intensivists and patient advocates.
